HOURLY PAY RATE:  $20.00

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Perform work in a safe manner by following all safety rules and providing recommendations to help make PCC a safe work environment.
•    Achieve team production and efficiency goals by working to meet all operational and quality standards to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
•    Perform somewhat diversified duties to assist in the melting and casting of molds following established methods and procedures.
•    Assist Caster A in all phases of foundry shell mold operations, such as positioning molds for pouring, pouring the molds, skimming slag, cleaning furnaces, charging furnaces, repairing and relining crucibles and ladles, removing poured molds to cooling area.
•    Perform casting operations on upward injection furnaces for shell and molds. 
•    Handle shells and molds and operate and control furnaces in accordance with established procedures.  
•    Perform required repair and maintenance of equipment as regularly handled by casting department personnel.
•    Detect faulty operations, defective material and report these and any unusual conditions to supervisor. 
•    Follow prescribed safety regulations.  Maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Experience and Education:
•    A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but may be substituted by manufacturing experience.
•    One year of manufacturing experience preferred, previous experience in the casting industry is a plus. 

Requirements:

•    Understanding of basic math calculations.
•    Ability to use precision measuring instruments, test equipment or other devices where interpretation is required.  
•    Ability to perform duties in manufacturing environment which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures.  Ability to lift up to 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.  

2nd SHIFT

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency. The U.S. export control regulations define a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), and certain categories of Asylees and Refugees.
