MISSION:
The EHS Maintenance Technician will work for EHS manager to ensure a safe work environment for the facility. This position supports the needs of the safety program and the continuous improvement program; to be the boots on the ground and get things done in a timely manner.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Support day-to-day EHS operations.
2. Perform technical duties in the fields of safety, environmental, 6S program, fire protection, Haz waste, and others.
3. Perform necessary improvement program tasks; general maintenance tasks including routine painting.
4. Follow up EHS concerns and tackle tasks in timely manner.
5. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and input data gathered into spreadsheets/databases.
6. Take samplings of storm water and coordinate delivery of samples.
7. Create and install EHS signage.
8. Coordinate delivery of PPE, and coordinate installation of facilities safety supplies (first aid kits, eye wash stations, etc.)
9. Help manage waste stream program.
10.Support other tasks, as needed.

ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT. VEHICLES. TOOLS AND/OR MACHINERY USED:
1. Forklift
2. Painting Equipment

TRAINING
1. Training is provided on the job.
2. Completion of PCC's Forklift Driving Safety Certification
Training required.
3. May be required to complete hazardous waste management training.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Passion for building customers/employees into strong, self-sufficient EHS problem solvers
2. High School Diploma or equivalent or Higher
3. High tolerance of change and willingness to help others
navigate changing work environments.
4. Strong teamwork
5. Able to lift to 35 lbs., stand and/or walk, climb stairs and
ladders, twist/bend upper body.
6. Able to perform painting, taping, installing small devices,
audits and more.
7. Able to rapidly respond to emergency.
8. Valid driver’s license in order to drive PCC vehicles.
9. Basic ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $24.00 to $35.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
