Chemical Line Operator
Shift: 2nd
Hours 2PM - 10:30PM
FUNCTION:
The Chemical Line Operator will operate a crane in order to immerse aerospace parts into applicable tanks
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND COMPETENCIES:
- Understand, adhere, and demonstrate to the company's commitment to QUALITY and SAFETY!
- Operate crane while adhering to safety regulations including but not limited to wearing a hardhat and safety glasses at all times
- Chromic acid Anodizing
- Sulfuric Acid Anodizing
- Boric/Sulfuric Acid Anodizing
- Chromate Conversion Coating
- Cleaning and Etching Aluminum and Titanium
- Passivation
- Understanding and proper use of applicable procedures, specifications, work instructions, etc.
- Ensuring control of nonconforming / age controlled material in accordance with established procedures
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance according to shift-times or a pre-arranged work schedule
- Perform other duties, as assigned
- Maintain good housekeeping and 6S standards throughout department and work facility
- Complete travelers before end of shift

- Blue Print Reading
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Use of Travelers
- Knowledge of AS9100/NADCAP
- Strong ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere.
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years experience
- Aerospace Industry Experience
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: · Continuously required to move about the facility · Regular moderate lifting of parts and material · Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, odors and temperature variations |
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection and safety shoes
