Since 1950, TIMET has been leading the industry in mill and melted products, supplying nearly one-fifth of the world's titanium. From traditional discrete mill products to customized near-net shapes to kits with finished components ready for the assembly line, TIMET delivers. TIMET is the only titanium manufacturer with mill production strategically located around the world. We have broad product line capability and strategic qualifications at locations in North America, United Kingdom, and France.

TIMET's global supply focus enables us to quickly move products using qualified raw material and routings that meet stringent customer requirements. Our plants are certified in international safety and quality standards and strictly follow lean initiatives.

TIMET’s Henderson, NV titanium production facility began operations in 1950. It is currently the largest manufacturer of titanium sponge in the United States. Titanium sponge is the basic ingredient of titanium metal and the essential raw material for the production of titanium products.

Henderson’s annual production capacity for sponge at the TIMET Henderson facility is approximately 27.8 million pounds. TIMET also melts titanium ingot at the Henderson facility for use in TIMET’s other facilities and end-user markets for defense, aerospace, industrial and consumer products.

The Henderson, NV facility’s production of titanium sponge is crucial to the support of TIMET’s worldwide operations. The titanium sponge produced is a necessary raw material for all titanium products. Sponge is combined with alloys and titanium scrap, and melted at both the Henderson and Morgantown, PA facilities to produce titanium ingot and slab. These products, in turn, are converted into milled titanium products, such as billet, bar, sheet, and plate at TIMET’s Toronto, Ohio facility.
