Job Purpose

To achieve the sales targets, develop the sales plan and strategies to continue to grow the business. 

To negotiating and liaising with customers at all levels.

To lead, manage and motivate the Inside Sales Office team and the Customer Services team.

Overview of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop outside sales plans and strategies to effectively grow the business.
  • Prepare and maintain metrics and sales reports on a weekly basis.
  • Lead customer business reviews either on site or at various customer locations.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction, inspire, and follow up with supply chain and quality improvement plans.
  • To lead the customer services team.
  • Negotiate with customers at all levels to win business and improve margins.
  • To suggest opportunities through follow-up and market intelligence of the aerospace sector.
  • Handling directly certain key accounts, sharing/supporting others with Divisional sales team.
  • Travel to customers where required and appropriate.
  • Worldwide sales territory scope for a diversified product range.
  • To continually strive to improve and simplify procedures and systems.
  • To work in a safe manner in order to satisfy Health & Safety Legislation and avoid accident or injury to people, machinery, or property.
  • Such other duties as may reasonably be required within your capability, consistent with the Terms & Conditions of your employment.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong sales focus
  • Good academic background
  • Knowledge of the Aerospace industry is essential.
  • Experience within Aerospace fasteners is preferred.
  • Must be computer literate and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working in a high pressure and fast paced environment and delivering to tight deadlines.
  • Committed, passionate, driven, pro-active, smart and tenacious.
