Position Summary:
Level Two: Working without assistance, level two punch press operators perform all punch press operations including full press setup. This includes locating tooling, loading tooling and setting stroke/ram parameters. Level two punch press operators also provide assistance to level one operators including in process inspection and equipment setup. They also demonstrate advanced trouble shooting related to die issues, working with quality and engineering to meet customer specifications. Typically 2-3 years of experience
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Lift up to 45lbs
- Perform full machine setups (Loading Dies & Coils, etc.)
- In Process Inspection (Visual & Functional, Recording)
- Perform First Part Buy-off (First Article Inspection)
- Visual Management of Machine (Stamps & Dies etc.)
- Production Paperwork/Operation Audit
- Provide leadership and training to lower level employees
Required Skills:
- The ability to read and write English.
- Advanced Print Reading

Experience & Education
- 2-3 Years of Experience
- GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
