PCC Airfoils, LLC, headquartered in Greater Cleveland, Ohio, is a world leader in the fast-paced, high-tech industry of investment casting. Each of the sixteen (16) Airfoils’ locations play an integral part in the manufacture of blades, vanes and components for use in gas turbine engines. PCC’s parts are found on virtually all commercial & military aircraft, as well as, industrial gas turbine applications in the free world. Our product plays a significant role in the evolution of the light-weight, fuel-efficient engines of the next generation.

The Airfoils Division is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Precision Castparts Corp. and was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway in February 2016. 

The Ceramics Group segment of PCC Airfoils and consists of three manufacturing locations - Wickliffe, Ohio, which also serves as Ceramics headquarters, Cleveland, Ohio, and Sanford, NC.  The Ceramics Group operations supply ceramic cores and proprietary custom blended ceramic particulate systems used in the manufacturing of the investment castings. Products and systems manufactured in these operations include: custom blended ceramic shell systems, injection molded silica and alumina cores for investment cast airfoils, slurry cast cores for land-based turbine casting applications and ceramic extrusions. The operations are expanding due to sales volume increase and this provides unique opportunities for career growth and development.
The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for Daily P&L, variable cost, and related SOX compliance.  The role will also include the analysis of variable cost, and ensuring department managers understand and receive information regarding cost. This role will provide key support in performing accounts analysis and reconciliation work.  
  • Daily P&L and inventory reporting preparation and analysis
  • Ensure labor is accurately reported and reconciled at the end of each month
  • Preparation and reporting of variable cost for each site, including working with department managers to track and report cost and ESH.
  • Prepare and analyze raw material cycle counts on a weekly basis
  • Support operations team with data analysis, responding to financial inquires, reporting and decision support as needed.  
  • Assist in ERP maintenance; correcting data errors and redundancies
  • Analyze and prepare standard versus current part cost updates
  • Month end close support through GL entry compilation
  • Review and prepare various prepaid and accruals as necessary
  • Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations, as assigned
  • SOX compliance, document internal controls for auditing compliance within the parameters of the SOX Control Document. Assist with quarterly testing requirements.
  • Perform internal auditing (test controls) of various documents/functions within the organization to ensure compliance with critical control measures.
  • Perform other duties as are designated by the manager.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors.
  • Assist in accounts payable processing as needed

Education:                 Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.

Work Experience:     One to five years accounting experience in manufacturing operation preferred.
