Summary

Provide systems to support the Manufacturing Engineering Functions, implementing tangible improvements which align manufacturing operations with business objectives in New Hartford and Dunkirk, New York production facilities.

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical and engineering expertise to optimize tools, methods and resources to alleviate constraints to improve productivity.
  2. Drives continuous improvement programs that minimize variability in process, methods and equipment performance; apply statistical methods to avoid defects, ultimately driving up yields.
  3. Data Analytics - generates charts, graphs and reports to demonstrate validity of proposed changes.
  4. Develops a visual management system to include standard work, 5S, quality, throughput, process control.

Education and Experience

  • B.S. in Systems Engineering or related discipline and 2 years of relevant IT experience, leveraging business knowledge through data analysis.

Physical Dimensions

Physical Demands – Frequently moves about the production facilities. Will be required to sit for extended periods of time.

Work Environment – The physical environment requires the employee to mainly work in an office setting, however exposure to the production facilities both inside and outside in year-round conditions is not uncommon. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required as appropriate to the specific area.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $74200.00 to $111970.00 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1.5X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
