RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform daily computer transactions to maintain production, inventory and accounting records.
  • Coordinate and issue alloy ingots to the foundry per daily schedule.
  • Manage daily inventory and order alloy ingots to meet the planned foundry schedule.
  • Manage the qualification of each new master heat (chemical and mechanical testing).
  • Mange vendor master heat testing, verify compliance and issue certifications to customer specifications.
  • Perform physical alloy inventories as needed.
  • Collect revert from various locations in the facility, process, sort and segregate.
  • Maintain alloy and revert storage in terms of segregation/organization and general cleanliness of the area.
  • Cut and weld ingots as needed.
  • Maintain master heat database for production and engineering special lots.
  • Work safely and follow all procedures. Ask for clarification if uncertain.
  • Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data with critical thinking.
  • Must be well organized and able to self-direct daily activities.
  • Must have basic computer skills; Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 35 lbs. Must be able to use powered industrial equipment for moving heavier objects.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Welding (TIG) skills desired
  • Must have flexibility in working hours. Required to work a minimum of one weekend per month (Sat and Sun).
