Chemical Line Operator

Shift: 2nd 

Hours 2PM - 10:30PM

FUNCTION:

            The Chemical Line Operator will operate a crane in order to immerse aerospace parts into applicable tanks

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Understand, adhere, and demonstrate to the company's commitment to QUALITY and SAFETY!
  • Operate crane while adhering to safety regulations including but not limited to wearing a hardhat and safety glasses at all times
  • Chromic acid Anodizing
  • Sulfuric Acid Anodizing
  • Boric/Sulfuric Acid Anodizing
  • Chromate Conversion Coating
  • Cleaning and Etching Aluminum and Titanium
  • Passivation
  • Understanding and proper use of applicable procedures, specifications, work instructions, etc.
  • Ensuring control of nonconforming / age controlled material in accordance with established procedures
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance according to shift-times or a pre-arranged work schedule
  • Perform other duties, as assigned
  • Maintain good housekeeping and 6S standards throughout department and work facility
  • Complete travelers before end of shift

Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience 
  • Aerospace Industry Experience

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

·         Continuously required to move about the facility

·         Regular moderate lifting of parts and material

·         Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, odors and temperature variations

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection and safety shoes

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21.0 to $25.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
