MISSION:

The Information Technology Director has the responsibility to direct Information Technology activities at PCC Structurals and reports to the VP of IT. The Primary mission is to facilitate high performant, secure and cost-effective access to information in all areas of the company.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Review all system activities to verify compliance to Division information systems plan, Corporate IT and SOX policies.
  • Develop strategy and direct systems activities that are aligned with Division strategies
  • Ensure that ERP, Quality, PLM and SCADA system changes are reviewed with Division leadership and follow Division / Corporate change management processes.
  • Plan, design and install new application systems throughout the Division if needed.
  • Manage and communicate IT priorities with Division management.
  • Ensure that the IT environment is high performant
  • Develop capital and expense budget to execute the IT strategy.
  • Development of the annual capital and expense budgets for divisional IT infrastructure and systems support.
  • Monitor and control all expenditures and resource allocation to systems activities in division, plant, and user level application areas.
  • Develop and communicate the plant-level allocations of data center overhead and common systems support activities.
  • Track expenditures against plan and highlight variances to V.P. of IT, V.P. of Finance and project steering committees.
  • Update the company information systems plan annually to reflect changing company requirements.
  • Oversee personnel administration for hiring, evaluation, development/advancement, and termination of employees with systems responsibilities.
  • Ensure that Cybersecurity initiatives/projects are supported and deadlines are met.

 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in the systems field with a minimum of 5 years of progressive management responsibility, including systems development activities. Preferred experience in manufacturing environments.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with advanced work highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with top management and project related personnel.
  • Expertise / working knowledge of all aspects of ERP / Quality / SCADA systems in a manufacturing environment is critical. Knowledge of Visibility ERP and ARAS PLM is preferred.
  • Understanding and working experience with PCC Toolbox is preferred.
  • Successful experience with the systems development life cycle for custom applications and pre-coded software applications.
  • Previous systems implementation project management experience. Project management experience in ERP implementation is highly preferred.
  • Proven skills with personnel management.
  • Ability to fully interpret and support the information plan and the justification for recommended action.
  • Ability to recognize policy issues and develop practical solutions for their resolution.
  • Strong time management and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • Experience with data center performance monitoring and disaster recovery techniques.
  • Knowledge of the data center hardware and its operations complexities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
