Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and operation of our facilities in Jenkintown. The Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for managing all aspects of facility maintenance, including building systems, equipment, utilities, and grounds. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate facility maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Manage facility budgets, expenses, and vendor contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and ensure optimal facility performance.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to support facility projects and initiatives.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess facility conditions and identify areas for improvement.
• Train and mentor facility staff to ensure a high level of performance and professionalism.
• provide engineering support for equipment installations, pump specifications, hvac requirements etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance or related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and MS Office applications.
