Description:

Produce quality ceramic cores operating Low Pressure Injection Machines.  Prepare die, obtain slurry, and inject part according to procedure.  Place in alcohol bath for specified time, then transfer to burn-off area and burn off excess alcohol.

Responsibilities:

• Follow written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Low Pressure Injection Machines.
• Produce quantities within set standards of each part number, identify core defects and maintain accurate records (routing/job cards, etc).
• Must assist Engineers, Quality and Manufacturing as needed.
• Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read and write and do basic mathematical problems
• Must be detail oriented and well organized.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be self-directed to accomplish goals with minimal supervision.

Physical Description:

• Sitting - 5%
• Standing - 75%
• Lifting - 35-49 pounds (some heavy lifting may be required in some instances).
• Walking - 20%
• Vision - Distant vision - 20/25 corrected or uncorrected in at least one eye and no worse than 20/25 when using binocular vision.
