Knowledge and understanding of fundamental cost accounting principles.
Understanding of the SAP structure and related transaction and reporting capabilities.
Experience with internal control and Sarbanes Oxley
Experience in physical inventory planning and reconciliation
Key player with the monthly closing process including journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations
- Knowledge and understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
- Knowledge of the mill operating environment and associated process flows.
- Understanding of the SAP structure and related transaction and reporting capabilities.
- Microsoft Office software experience with particular Excel strengths.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, or in a group setting, on assigned projects.
- Ability to analyze problems and present resolutions
