PCC Airfoils' Minerva operation manufactures complex turbine airfoil blades & vanes used on aircraft engines and industrial gas turbine applications.

The Minerva plant operation and Prototype Foundry are located 20 miles southeast of Canton, Ohio. The Crooksville plant is part of the Minerva Operation and provides finishing, inspection and shipping functions. This plant is located in central Ohio approximately 60 miles southeast of Columbus.

The co-op student will be working on job assignments related to their computer science or engineering education. These increasingly challenging assignments will provide foremost an effective learning assignment and then a sound intellectual and/or financial return for the PCC organization.

This co-op position has a start date in January 2020, and we are looking for candidates who will do more than one co-op rotation with us.

  • Apply principles that the student has learned in school to hands-on situations, such as program development for PCC use.
  • Responsible for accomplishing performance goals and will receive progressive responsibility throughout their co-op experience.
  • Identify and fix computer and network problems.
  • Attend a weekly departmental meeting.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for identified projects.
  • Participate on project teams for some assigned projects.
  • Work within specifications provided to meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate with peers, project team members, and other departments on new product development, product line extensions, and product enhancements.
  • Work with network and server equipment.
  • Opportunity to expand responsibilities into computer programming or controls, at their interest.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree.

Must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
