Summary

The position incumbent is responsible for establishing and maintaining accurate manufacturing instructions to meet customer expectations as dictated by Purchase Order requirements, material specifications, and any existing, applicable vendor agreements.

Essential Functions

  • Review inquiries for compatibility of stock material
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operations, Quality Module, Master Items, Routings and Bills of Material (BOM’s)
  • Review and interpret customer specifications.
  • Analyze and implement Process Changes (PC’s) and Process Change Requests (PCR’s)
  • Disposition Internal Review Reports (IRR’s) and issue appropriate manufacturing instructions
  • Review new Purchase Orders to determine manufacturing requirements (Contract Review)

Education and Experience

A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. BS degree in engineering or related field is highly desirable.

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail are critical.
  • Reliable attendance and good communication skills are essential.
