The Fasteners Division of Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) has an immediate need for an experienced MES/SCADA Systems Analyst at our Center of Excellence near Mason, Ohio.  This Manufacturing Processes Engineer will be responsible for working with world class solution providers to develop and implement manufacturing processes for our automated machinery that consistently yields high quality aerospace-grade fasteners.

Position Summary:

This position will work with world class solution providers to complete and improve an automated assembly line with a focus on lights out manufacturing. The position will work with Dassault Apriso MES, Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA, Infor Syteline Cloud ERP, and various PLC, OPC UA, MTConnect, and MQTT protocols.

The successful candidate will be working with global IT and manufacturing teams to lead technology driven business process transformation and innovation in the manufacturing IT environment.

Position reports to the Director of Advanced Manufacturing, with dotted line reporting to the Division IT Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Division IT to setup the greenfield operation in compliance with corporate IT policies, the IT internal control framework, and cybersecurity.
  • Work with Industry 4.0 solution providers, equipment manufacturers, and the ERP vendor to design and implement the required systems integrations points and data flow to achieve best in class lights-out-manufacturing.
  • Work with solution providers to develop, implement, and continuously improve, MES, SCADA, and KPI outputs.
  • Utilize project management best practices to ensure goals are clearly defined, resourced, and achieved in junction with business objectives.
  • Prepare documentation and lead weekly/monthly project steering committee status reporting.
  • Help support Corporate and Division data governance and master data initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related study (or equivalent project-related experience).
  • Minimum 5 years experience with Dassault Apriso MES, Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA, PLCs, OPC UA, MTConnect, and MQTT.
  • Programming background with C#, SQL/PL SQL, Java and web based technologies.
  • Proven problem-solving capability required.  Excellent communication skills required. Ability to be largely self-directed with weekly, monthly project status reporting and objective accountably.
  • Some travel required.

Work Environment:

Hours: Onsite, 40/week, plus overtime

Environment: Office environment as well as time in production facility
