• Evaluate existing CMM programs for efficiency and opportunities for improvement, e.g. cycle time reduction.
• Establish a standard process for CMM programming including number of points per reading based on size and geometric shape
• Update cycle times and operation processes using internal software accordingly (schedule accuracy improvement
• Assist with Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) and setup cycle time reduction projects, e.g. ball-lok eCAR & manual chucks eCAR, etc.
• Support engineering and quality departments with geo-verification, scan review, folder creation, folder buy-off, and other daily tasks as necessary.
• Other opportunities to support longer-term projects such as: 1) assist with submitting and implementing two critical eCAR projects specific to setup reduction and implementation of SMED methodologies.
• Benchmark internal processes to implement and drive to completion ball-lok and manual chucks installations.
• Must have completed a minimum of 20 credits with an average GPA of 3.0 or better
• Preferred major field of study to be related to the position.
• Compose internal/external letters and memos
• Good verbal communication skills
• Data entry using MS Office, QAD, or other software systems
• Analyze statistical data
• Follow instructions
• Perform other duties as assigned
