Wyman-Gordon, located in Princeton KY, provides Nickel-based Extruded Powder Alloy for Military and Commercial Turbine Applications. The Princeton MI facility offers Vacuum-Melt Atomizers; for the raw material needs of the Worcester MA forge Isothermal forge shop. This growing, profit center is part of a highly successful, multi-billion diversified manufacturer. Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC).

2nd shift Manufacturing Supervisor

To provide supervisory leadership, efficient management and creative problem solving, in department related plant operations. 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Ensuring consistent basic quality standards and procedures up and down work chain.
  • Financial review/cost analysis.
  • P&L responsibilities.
  • Operations management (production schedule, releases, deliveries, product quality assurance).
  • Manufacturing analysis to reach peak efficiency.
  • Manufacturing improvement/refinement review.
  • Manufacturing directs and coordinates plant operations based policies, objectives, and programs spanning manufacturing functions.
  • Determines performance and product quality and has direct accountability for that performance.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Manufacturing shop floor experience required
  • S./ B.A (engineering discipline preferred) or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 5 plus years supervisory experience.
  • Union experience stongly preferred
  • Supporting 2nd shift (3:00p – 1:00a)
  • Weekend OT may be expected

  • Very strong inter-personal skills.
  • Leadership ability.
  • Management acumen.
  • Ability to do multi tasks.
