PCC Structurals specializes in nickel-based superalloy, titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum investment castings for aerospace, land-based turbine, medical, military armament, and many other applications. Our division’s emphasis on high-quality, low-cost, and timely delivery has enabled it to become the leading supplier of structural investment castings worldwide.

PCC Groton works with extremely complex castings, primarily for industrial gas turbines and other energy applications. Groton also manufactures vacuum and air investment cast components for aero-engine and airframe components. Castings are produced from nickel/cobalt-based superalloys and stainless steels.

PCC Structurals - Groton is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to assist our team based out of Groton, CT. The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for supporting multiple areas of operations including Purchasing, Planning, Sales, and Delivery. Utilizing statistical analysis, the position will update and maintain the MRP environment to produce up to date sales and operational plans. This role will also fulfill daily performance metric reporting, make/buy ordering, and interact with cross-functional teams on key customer critical actions.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Daily outside process coordination involving purchase order placement and vendor follow up
  • Assist in running daily plant and department planning reports
  • Drive cross-functional efforts to clear stagnant inventory for shipments
  • Generate and maintain standardized techniques for key variables to control updating and maintaining the MRP/ERP system
  • Forecast material demand based on master schedule and maintain necessary inventory levels
  • Assist in shop floor management by expediting material and offering statistical insight to plant operations
  • Support overall management objectives and other tasks as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in quantitative field
  • 2-5 years of applicable supply chain, purchasing, sales, or planning experience preferred within a manufacturing setting
  • Proficient in MS Office mainly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivots, INDEX(MATCH()), Power Query)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Flexible self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills

 

  • Knowledge of Visualization software products such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Statistica
  • Ability to create VBA macros within Microsoft Excel
