Senior Financial Analyst – TIMET/Henderson, NV

The Senior Financial Analyst will be expected to perform general accounting and finance functions in a fast-paced environment, have good communication skills, and be able to balance high-level strategic goals with everyday tasks. This candidate will be able to work well on a team but also be self-motivated to work efficiently on their own.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Comply with PCC Code of Conduct Requirements and all PCC Cardinal Rules (e.g. Quality and Safety).
  • Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
  • All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable Company policies and procedures.
  • In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of Company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representatives.
  • Review, analyze, evaluate and interpret financial forecasts and operating results.
  • Prepare monthly closing journal entries and adjustments to financial records; organize, analyze and complete month end financial statements.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
  • Assist with all items of the month end closing process. The process must be completed timely and at a high level of accuracy.
  • Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls and investigate and report any inconsistencies or improprieties to the Controller.
  • Maintain and prepare process documentation as required for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and assist with quarterly self-assessment testing.
  • Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.
  • Prepare monthly reconcile general ledger accounts to sub ledgers and research any discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparation of financial quarterly review (FQR) package.
  • Prepare quarterly Excess and Obsolete Analysis and assist Material Review Board with inventory management.
  • Adhere to all SOX requirements to ensure full SOX compliance.
  • Assist in Sarbanes Oxley compliance activities. Learn SOX Corporate requirements and maintain records to comply with said requirements.
  • Complete various reporting requests as needed.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with team members, coworkers, production staff and management.
  • Provide support to Finance clerical staff and assist in resolving issues that arise in these areas with minimal supervision.
  • Review and improve daily processes and tasks to expedite and improve workflow.
  • Create and maintain adequate and appropriate procedural documentation.
  • Perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Complete tasks timely and at a high level of accuracy.
  • Meet strict deadlines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, minimum.

A minimum of five to ten years of experience

Extensive experience with ERP systems and Excel

Accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

SOX experience preferred.

Pay min $91,500 - max $114,300
