Position Summary:

Level Two: Working without supervision, level two tapping machine operators performs all levels of tapping operations including full machine setup and troubleshooting, providing training and assistance to lower level employees. This requires knowledge of tap geometry and advanced inspection processes including SPC. 2-4 Years

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• In Process Inspection (Visual & Functional, Recording)
• Set work priority & Schedule
• Perform full machine setups
• Provide leadership and training to lower level employees
• Production Paperwork/Operation Audit

Required Skills:

• The ability to read and write English.
• Basic Inspection Processes (Tools & Measurements)
• Advanced Understanding of Machine Function (Setups)
• Advanced knowledge of tools (Drills, Reams, Taps)
• Communication Skills (With manufacturing engineers)

Experience & Education

• Typically 2-4 Years
• GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
