GENERAL PURPOSE 
Under direction of the Engineering Management, performs projects and tasks in support of New Product Development, Process Control initiatives, and identified cost reduction opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•    Use of Solid Works to modify customer supplied 3D casting models to apply conceptualized gating.
•    Use of Solid Works to generate PCC designed frame dies, check fixtures, straightening fixtures, marking fixtures, etc.
•    Ability to set-up and operate PCC San Leandro’s 3D printing machines.
•    Statistical analysis of part specific inspection data.
•    Statistical analysis of process control data.
•    Generation of manufacturing work instructions
•    Conduct and analyze designated testing
•    Use GD&T skill set to formulate and analyze dimensional inspection results 
•    Project team member of identified cost reduction initiatives.

TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Achieve a high competency level of assigned projects and tasks. Demonstrate aptitude, work ethic, and strong communication skills.
•    Maintain adherence to the highest level of compliance with customer requirements and company procedures. Complete special training sessions in support of the position, plant objectives, and personal growth.
•    Bachelor of Science Engineering degree, or in progress of obtaining a Bachelor of Science Engineering degree. 
•    Must be computer literate and proficient in MicroSoft Word, Excel, and Solid Works. Exhibit aptitude to learn gating concepts and perform solidification modeling with use of “ProCast” finite element analysis tool.   

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21.00 to $32.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 0  hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
