We produce all commercially available vacuum melt nickel and cobalt-base alloys for equiaxed, directionally solidified and single crystal re-melt applications, as well as air melt cobalt alloys for re-melt applications. We also produce all commercially available stainless steels and develop and produce our own line of proprietary single crystal and directionally solidified alloys, including CMSX®-4 under the CM Alloy Brand.

Cannon-Muskegon is a Precision Castparts Company, and a recognized worldwide leader in the development and manufacture of nickel/cobalt-based alloys and stainless steels for investment casting applications. We are currently seeking experienced candidates for our North American Sales Manager position within our Sales & Marketing department.

In this position as an individual contributor, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to all forecasting & budgeting reporting requirements along with executing the strategic & tactical initiatives for the North American customer base. Additionally, your job will be to ensure compliance to all sales policies and work instructions. The role will also be responsible for managing corporate guidelines for contracts and terms and conditions.

Work safely. Adhere to all company and regulatory EH&S policies and procedures.

Commercial sales account management for the North American customer base with daily activities including pricing, planning, cash collection, logistics, etc.

Responsible for all forecasting & reporting activity for the customers including report generation and development of tools to assist with accuracy of data.

Supports the Director of Sales & Marketing with detailed weekly, monthly, & annual forecast/budget of sales revenue, margins, & volumes.

Maintains consistent, timely, & effective communication with the customers to support the daily business.

Acts as the primary liaison between customers & internal stakeholders for strategic & tactical initiatives.

Monitor the sales/operation plans and master schedules to identify changes or trends.

Demonstrates strong leadership within the organization with a strong bias for action.

Lead negotiations for customers with annual or multi-year supply agreements.

Analyze and interpret sales data, identify market trends, evaluate sales goals.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

Lead efforts for managing finished goods and customer revert inventory.

Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines for company contracts.

Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley activities.

Other duties as assigned.

Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field of study, and will have a minimum of ten (10) years prior related experience in technical sales with a manufacturing company.
This role will require a strong level of business acumen and a high-level of
initiative. Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to self-start and
bring an original thought process to the role
Experience with Excel, Cognos BI, Glovia, & Syteline systems is a plus.
