Electrical/Controls Engineer

We are searching for a highly motivated electrical/controls engineer responsible for electrical controls design, development, programming, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning of complex control systems.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Ensure that all safety, quality, & industry standards are adhered to
  • Provide industrial controls and automation engineering services to the manufacturing shop floor
  • Manage industrial projects with demanding timelines & deliverables
  • Design, development, PLC and HMI /SCADA programming, instrument specifications, troubleshooting, start-up, documentation, maintenance and support
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities & develop projects for implementation
  • Engineering specifications and drawings, review of engineering documents and factory acceptance
  • Develop high-quality, error-free industrial software programs
  • Demonstrate strong cause-effect analytical abilities to develop root cause and corrective actions
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all levels of the organization

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 0-5 years’ proven experience with Industrial instrumentation and control implementation with multiple platforms.
  • Exposure to AutoCAD Electrical
  • Exposure to PLC & HMI/ SCADA programming (Allen Bradley, Logix, Galaxy/ Wonderware Historian, SQL database, FactoryTalk, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
