PCC Aerostructures is a leading supplier of complex components and assemblies to the global aerospace industry. It now includes more than 35 plants in the U.S, Europe and Asia with over 5000 employees and has ambitious growth plans. Businesses within PCC Aerostructures include Primus International, SPS Aerostructures, Centra, Avibank and AVK, Klune, ProCoat, Southwest United Industries, Progressive Incorporated, Synchronous, Noranco and Kalistrut. Plants locations include Washington, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Ohio, Canada, Mexico, the UK and China.
The Noranco Deer Valley and Jet Processing facilities were recently acquired by PCC and provide high precision machined and fabricated components to the commercial and aerospace industry along with anodizing, passivation and other surface treatments. Aircraft platforms currently include the Boeing 737, Airbus A380, Lockheed Martin F-35 and Gulfstream E650. Combined annual sales revenue is in excess of $35 million and growing.
Manage, direct, and implement operations strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of division’s goals.
  • Develops and maintains business plans and performance criteria to ensure department effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Monitors departmental metrics and workload of core departments, identifies best practices and opportunities areas, and provides solutions for improved efficiencies.
  • Make revisions to procedures to maintain profitable operations and optimum service levels to internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for WIP movement, sales throughput, and rework reduction for the business.
  • Assures that TOC boards are kept up to date by shift.
  • Ensures standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance are maintained and that cost-effective technology is used to maximize production.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and development to direct reports in order to improve the caliber and productivity of all levels.
  • Aligns team via reinforcement of vision and goals; exceeds through superior hiring, continuous coaching, appraisal, formal training and disciplinary practices.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationship and communications within the organization at all levels.
  • Encourages participation in operational improvements and innovations at all levels.
  • Establishes and maintains safe operations by adhering to procedures and policies.
  • Achieves 6-S objectives and achieves world class plant operations status.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Education / Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, and three years of progressive levels of managerial experience.

  • Education / Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, and three years of progressive levels of managerial experience.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and general public.
  • Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems when performing a wide variety of duties involving general knowledge of company policies and procedures within scope of responsibilities and their application to cases not previously covered. Duties require considerable judgment to work independently toward general results, devising new methods or concepts, modifying or adapting standard procedures to meet new conditions, making decisions guided by precedent and based on company policies.
