Finishing Grind Operator Level 2 - AIC

Position Summary:

Level Two: Working under minimal supervision, level two operators demonstrate the ability to operate manual, CNC, or automatic grinding machines as required, including performing basic setups and employing more advanced inspection techniques, including measuring surface finish, head angles and using optical comparators.  1-3 Years

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• In Process Inspection (Visual & Functional, Recording)
• Perform basic machine setups
• Production Paperwork/Operation Audit

Required Skills:

• The ability to read and write English.
• Basic Print Reading
• Basic Shop Math l
• Understanding of Machine Function (Setups)
• Basic Knowledge of Grinding Tools (Media, Dresser)
• Productivity and Quality Knowledge

Experience & Education

• Typically 1-3 Years
• GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
