Develop processes for tracking and reporting the status of maintenance work requests on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis.
Review, sort, prioritize and disposition all incoming maintenance notifications.
Assign, track and report the preventive maintenance work activities on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis.
Coordinate the assignment of all maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance work to ensure the maximum use of the craft man-hours available.
Responsible for developing, documenting, and improving preventive maintenance programs in order to support the improvement of equipment availability and throughput.
Analyzing production delay data for establishing and documenting or modifying preventive maintenance tasks.
Review equipment failure and root cause analysis reports to evaluate corrective action items and the impact of corrective action items to the preventive maintenance programs.
Coordinate outside contractor work activities with maintenance personnel or production personnel as required to minimize impacts to cost and production.
Prepare, coordinate and maintain schedules for extended production outages and major maintenance work.
Develop methods for evaluating completion of work with respect to the thoroughness of the work order and the performance measures of the employees. Follow up to ensure that jobs go as planned and review for future application.
Manage and maintain the information and data entry required for utilizing the SAP CMMS maintenance system.
Develop relationship with storeroom to support the plant goals related to inventory levels, critical spare parts assessments and parts standardization.
Supports the maintenance department in developing and implementing standard operating procedures, operator training, and skill development for all personnel.
Determine and install appropriate performance metrics that will promote long-term continuous improvement programs consistent with the operating objectives of the department.
Provides support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Two or four year degree desirable with five years experience in maintenance management or planning position.
