PCC Structurals is the world leader in superalloy, aluminum and titanium investment casting. With applications in jet aircraft engines, airframes, industrial gas turbine (IGT) engines, military armaments, medical prosthesis, and many other industrial markets, we provide a wide portfolio of high-quality components, some as large as 100 inches (250cm).
As the original business unit for Precision Castparts, you can count on PCC Structurals’ extensive experience and knowledge to consistently provide high-quality castings, even at significant volumes.
PCC Structurals also provides solidification modeling, in-house rapid prototyping (including SLA), digital radiography, hot isostatic pressing, precision machining and protective coating services. We operate 11 manufacturing facilities in the United States and Europe.
- Audit and approve hourly timecards and posts hours for manufacturing reports daily
- Process weekly payroll, including all daily and weekly adjustments
- Maintain attendance records and timecards for hourly employees
- Maintain all necessary payroll functions for all hourly employees
- Tracks discrepancies, documents, and provides feedback to correct behavior
- Distribute payroll checks, and department mail
- Maintains all personnel records
- Conducts new hire orientation and exit interviews
- Coordinates supervisor meetings, events and activities
- Manage internal communication systems
- Provide counsel and support to supervisors in resolving personnel issues
- Assists in the administration of benefits, including workers compensation
- Assists in the staffing process, including job posting and screening
- Facilitates the development and administration of Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity requirement
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail
- Timekeeping and Payroll experience strongly preferred
- Benefits administration experience strongly preferred
- HR Generalist experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least two specialties highly preferred, such as, Employment, EEO and AACP, Training and Development, Compensation, Labor Relations law etc
- Must be able to work early morning schedule, 5:00 – 5:30am start time
- Working knowledge of company policies and practices
- Must be flexible and able to adjust to interruptions. Adaptable to changing priorities and concurrent assignments. Must be able to organize tasks and work independently
- Experience and proficiency with office equipment. Must be proficient in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel. ADP/eTime experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to respond independently to routine and emergency issues, based on priority and importance of plant operations
- Ability and desire to work in a demanding fast paced work environment
- Must maintain employee confidentiality
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels of management and a broad general understanding of the business function
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed to meet payroll processing timelines
- Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check including drug screen
