Essential Functions

 

Quality Engineers are expected to document and maintain AS9102 first article reports including “red ball” first article drawings.

 

Quality Engineers are expected to document, investigate, submit and follow-up on customer and supplier non-conformance issues and complaint reports.

 

Quality Engineers (Q.E.’s) are expected to participate in internal MRB activities.

 

Some Q.E.’s are expected to follow-up to verify that internal/supplier corrective actions have been effective.

 

Q.E.’s are expected to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, planning, work instructions and to work with management and manufacturing/tooling engineering staff in order to determine quality standards and quality assurance documentation requirements.

 

Q.E.’s are expected to review and approve purchase orders, work orders and manufacturing sketches.

 

Q.E.’s are expected to review and define SPC / MSA requirements on drawings, models, work orders and sketches.

 

Some Q.E.’s are expected to oversee the approved supplier base.

 

Some Q.E.’s may be expected to conduct internal and supplier Quality System audits independently or in cooperation with ADI’s Quality Management System Administration.

 

Q.E.’s will be expected to analyze data and create charts or graphs communicating process and/or department status.

 

Q.E.’s are expected to perform other reasonable duties as they are assigned by supervision.

 

Specifications

 

Q.E.’s must possess the ability to work in a “team” environment to resolve an array of issues.

 

Q.E.’s are required to have 7 years minimum experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment (candidates possessing less than 7 years experience may be considered if that experience has been directly and specifically related to the exact type of work they will be expected to perform at ADI).

 

Q.E.’s must understand G,D,&T including Aerospace customer drawings, models, specifications and purchase order requirements.

 

All Q.E.’s will be expected to understand the intent and application of the AS9100 Aerospace Standard.

 

All Q.E.’s are expected to be competent in Internet and Microsoft computer software applications.

 

All Q.E.’s will be expected to be able to multi-task and to operate successfully in a dynamic environment characterized by a continual and overriding sense of urgency.

 

All Q.E.’s must be able to competently communicate technical requirements and discuss those requirements in English.

 

 

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $85000 to $115000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 104 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
