Shultz Steel manufactures large complex structural titanium and steel forgings for both commercial and military aerospace applications. SHULTZ STEEL COMPANY has been in business since 1947 and is located in the greater Los Angeles California area. It employs about 450 people. It was acquired by PCC in 2016. Shultz Steel Company produces large structural die forgings and rolled rings primarily for the aerospace industry out of alloy steel, titanium, aluminum and nickel alloys. It is a vertically integrated facility.
- BS Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline, advanced degree a plus
- Minimum 15 years as an Engineering Manager with Aerospace manufacturing experience, with progressively increasing responsibilities
- Leadership experience
- Experience in open and closed die forging is REQUIRED
- Significant exposure and / or experience in 6S, LEAN manufacturing, 6-Sigma, and manufacturing process control
